Soul Switch

Inspired by the theme "Balance", the group have decided to create a game that tests your patience by having to balance two characters life as they escape the consequences of their own actions. (cough,cough.. summoning a demon.)

Set in a dark academia inspired school, a botched summoning spell has put a student mage and a nearby nun in mortal danger. It is up to the player to *balance * their attention by switching between the two characters to avoid oncoming obstacles, ensuring survival for as long as they can.

The endless runner theme game is simply inspired by known classics: Temple Run and Doodle Jump takes a gothic turn with an 8bit soundtrack and a dark academia theme makes it good for a hit of new nostalgia.

This game is presented and made for 2024 Level Her Up Game Jam

presented in Murdoch University on the 10th of October 2024.
